Certification of BS5 systems

Our BS5 systems are bioclimatic pergolas consisting of aluminum components, columns, beams and rotating slats. The systems are produced in accordance with the harmonized standard EN 13561. According to this standard, our producer issues the technical approval and the CE mark. The declared property according to the standard is wind resistance up to class 4. The declaration of conformity is part of the instructions included with the product.

The bioclimatic pergola as a sun protection / roof differs from the usually fixed canopies with a classic roof, which, according to building regulations, must withstand the loads in accordance with the regulations and depending on the location.

The bioclimatic pergola is a sun protection/roof in which the slats must be opened under heavy loads (wind, snow, etc.), which is stated in the product description and in the instructions.

The load capacity with closed slats depends on the dimensions of the pergola.
